What's in a word?

Ever wonder how the mind approaches words? Lately I have found people taking what a I say in the complete opposite direction of what I intended to communicate. Well, of course the basic thought is still there, and the fact that the sentence was taken the opposite way will not change my intention and/or what it stated. It does, however, confirm that what I said was complete, since it can be understood in the full circle of duality.

That my words were “misunderstood” has to do with the verity that we can only see and understand what we’re capable of grasping. In that sense we are drawn to, and clench, the same or similar assessments over and over again, missing the deeper meaning of word(s). The mental universe radiates an overwhelming desire to strip an idea to the bare bones of our consciousness and convert it to our own perspective.

If we ever get to the point where we find a desire to break this pattern of limitation, one way to achieve an expansion of our consciousness is to listen to the inner sound and look to the inner light – that’s where HU comes in.

Character of Sound

The pure form of either Light or Sound doesn’t flow like a river from one point to another following gravity. Rather it expands in all directions, horizontally as well as vertically, at the same time. That makes the personal experience of Light and Sound such an uplifting and expanding experience.

If you listen to the sound of HU you may want to join in and add your personal note to the chant – and by doing so you are now an active part of the sound, which will enhance the experience of the sound.
